Welcome to Afrohaven Vacations, a travel agency based in Nairobi, Kenya, that offers trips and accommodations to various destinations.

By using our website, booking our services, or contacting us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before you proceed.

1. Booking and Payment

To book a trip or accommodation with us, you need to fill out an online form or contact us by phone or email. You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your booking and the payment instructions. You need to pay a deposit of 30% of the total price within 7 days of receiving the confirmation email to secure your booking. The balance must be paid at least 30 days before your departure date. If you book within 30 days of your departure date, you need to pay the full amount at the time of booking. We accept payments by bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money.

2. Cancellation and Refund

You can cancel your booking at any time by notifying us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

• More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the total price
• 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total price
• Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total price

We reserve the right to cancel your booking in case of force majeure, such as war, civil unrest, natural disasters, epidemics, or any other unforeseen circumstances that make it impossible or unsafe to operate the trip or accommodation. In such cases, we will offer you an alternative date, destination, or service, or a full refund of the amount paid.

3. Travel Documents and Insurance

You are responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents, such as passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other permits or authorizations required for your destination. We are not liable for any costs, delays, or losses incurred due to your failure to comply with these requirements. You are also responsible for purchasing adequate travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, and loss or damage of luggage and personal effects. We are not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage that may occur during or as a result of your trip or accommodation.

4. Services and Standards

We aim to provide you with high-quality services and standards that meet or exceed your expectations. However, we cannot guarantee that all aspects of your trip or accommodation will be as described on our website or in our brochures, as some factors may be beyond our control, such as weather conditions, availability of facilities, local regulations, or cultural differences. We are not liable for any dissatisfaction, disappointment, or complaint that may arise from such factors. We are also not liable for any changes or cancellations that may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as flight delays or cancellations, road closures, strikes, or political instability. In such cases, we will try our best to provide you with alternative arrangements or compensation, but we cannot guarantee their availability or suitability.

5. Conduct and Behavior

You are expected to conduct yourself in a respectful and courteous manner towards our staff, suppliers, and other travelers during your trip or accommodation. You are also expected to comply with the laws and customs of the countries you visit. We reserve the right to terminate your booking without refund if you breach these terms and conditions or engage in any unlawful, disruptive, offensive, or harmful behavior that may affect the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of yourself or others.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website and brochures, such as text, images, logos, trademarks, and designs, are the property of Afrohaven Vacations or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or use any of this content without our prior written consent.

7. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and use your personal information only for the purposes of providing you with our services and communicating with you. We do not share your personal information with any third parties without your consent unless required by law or necessary for the performance of our services. 8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
